Georgia 35 West Virginia 38
The first quarter almost made me physically ill. Twenty-eight points in less than fifteen minutes. Georgia closed it to 10 by halftime, but with three turnovers (two leading to Mountaineer touchdowns), Georgia couldn't "finish the drill". And just when you thought that Shockley would have another opportunity to win the game, WVU runs a well-executed fake punt for a first down.
Oh well, just eight months until the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers come to Athens. |
